Abstract: | The Amulree Jacobite collection has rested in the University of Stirling's library archives practically unexplored following its bequethal to the institution almost four decades ago. This paper discusses its author, his antiquarian and authorial legacy, and his collection's fascinating array of Jacobite-related material culture. |
