Abstract: Under similar conditions, surface mining is generally regarded to be more advantageous than underground mining. In the selection between surface and underground exploitation methods, there are a number of most significant factors must be briefly studied and determined. In this study, these factors were extensively studied and then considering effect of these factors on surface and underground mining, a comparison was done.
