Computational approaches to immunology represent an important area of Systems Biology aimed at supporting in-sillico experiments, which will eventually facilitate the engineering of synthetic immune responses. In this broader context, we have explored the possibility of exploiting a novel parallel programming technique for speeding up stochastic simulations of some aspects of the interplay between the immune response for the HIV infection.en_UK
