Abstract: The first edition of this journal for 2009 featured an article by the present author on the Scottish Government’s consultation on a draft Arbitration (Scotland) Bill.1 The Arbitration (Scotland) Act 2010 is now in force. This article offers a brief overview of the Act as well as a more detailed analysis of some of its more interesting provisions, welcoming most, but expressing reservations regarding others.
