| Abstract: | First paragraph: Methods maketh the man? Even within the relatively specialized domain of the multivariate analysis of larger‐scale social survey data on patterns of lifestyle and social inequalities, the papers by Chan and by Flemmen et al. demonstrate work from very different analytical orientations. Is it possible that the differences in their broader descriptive and theoretical conclusions flow to a large degree from their divergent methodological strategies? |
