Abstract: First paragraph: In July 2004, Airdrie Local Health Care Co-operative set up the Youth Counselling Service (YCS) as a two-year pilot project. This report evaluates the success of the YCS in providing an independent counselling service for young people of secondary school age in school and in the community.
