Abstract: | The article discusses the decision of the UK Supreme Court in Armstead v Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company Ltd [2024] UKSC 6, and in particular how it is likely to be received by the Scottish courts. The case considers the rights of a hirer of corporeal moveable property (in this case a car) if the property is damaged through the fault of a third party. |
